Step aboard…. Together we sit in this ship, Our anchor’s lost, we’ve called it quits, To sail to land would seal a fate, A fate that god just cannot change. To turn around, to retrace steps, Decisions no one wishes, yet, The fog is settling tonight, And we’ve no place to say goodnight. A boat of 24 lost men, is just asking for their ends. The short straw has been dealt again… Fingernails are cracked and split, I’ve bought my time by spending his. All I can see are bones and hate, Of other men who’ve chose this way.
2.
Lying here in two false beds, Bodies cold and dripping red... on the floor. So sacred, and yet so revered, The name you claim to has never been given an ear. So hold your tongue back, before you invite me in, to this place that's rooted in your capitol sin. Saving grace, just one last time. This body's cold, but it isn't mine. SAVE YOUR WOES, for someone other than me, the BRIGHTEST LIGHT could never help your eyes see, what YOU DON'T KNOW is my only demise, and what I WON'T KNOW will slowly grow over time.

I've been here before, but never like this.

Vicinities 03:43
I'm back in my own room So many days spent out in the world. Now is the time to think of what I'll never do. My bed is so cold. Been trying to warm it's tired self. With all of the emptiness it's carried through. So how, where, when do we leave? I am so content, just staying here to grieve. With all of my laments, just an eraser's best friend. But all forms of safety must come to an end. (Except one.) Please, oh please, pencil, let your lead lead the way. Because thoughts become a crowd, a mob with torches, bright as day. Write down, for just a minute, without my hand on your thoughts. My hand has led me down a page I thought that I forgot. Don't erase. Don't erase. (No more second chance.) I'm back in my own world, but God, I never left.
5.
But will I reap what I have sown, will I say that I have grown? The shore’s in sight for only four of us now, We can’t be happy, but we can’t be sad now, The decision stays to speak of this or throw it away, Just like the boats and bones that we, like garbage, threw away. The families will ask, our mouths will just say, The truth up until the point where the whale swam away! A sleepless night after the other is the way that this will end, But rest is probably easier at the bottom in the sand.
